Dining
Telluride has an impressive and eclectic sampling of upscale dining with a wide array of international and creative American cuisine. From French food to sushi and Thai to Italian, local restaurants have something for every palette. Honga's Lotus Petal, a pan-Asian restaurant known for its sushi, is always popular with guests, as well as the New Sheridan Chop House, which features steak and a selection of fine cheeses. The Lodge also recommends Allred's for culinary excellence and stunning mountain views, and The Cosmopolitan for fresh, innovative re-creations of traditional American fare.

The Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge does not have a restaurant on site and therefore does not offer room service, but is steps away from a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and is ideally located near the gondola, which provides complimentary transportation to a multitude of dining opportunities

Allred's
Telluride’s most unique fine dining experience is Allred's, where culinary excellence, exquisite views and impressive ambiance mesh to create a unique dining adventure over 10,551 feet. American cuisine is prepared with international overtones for public year-round dining.

The Cosmopolitan
Serving dinner nightly, this elegantly simple 70-seat restaurant is located in the luxurious Hotel Columbia at the base of the Gondola and the Oak Street Lift. Known locally as "The Cosmo," the custom cherry wood bar is the perfect place to unwind.

La Marmotte
Chef/Owner Mark Reggiannini, former sous chef for Jean Georges Vonrichten, has a philosophy regarding food – simplicity. His rustic bistro cooking focuses on the use of local fine ingredients prepared using French techniques. La Marmotte’s menu changes nightly depending on what is fresh and in season. La Marmotte is nestled two blocks from Main Street in the historic 100 year-old building, the "Ice House" and only one block from the Gondola. La Marmotte offers a beautiful country-elegant dining room and a private dining room to accommodate 6-12 people.

Honga's Lotus Petal
The Pan-Asian restaurant has a dynamic vibe that is funky, yet chic and sophisticated, featuring superb food like fresh sushi and traditionally eclectic Eastern fare. Changing regularly, the extensive menu uses fine and authentic ingredients that honor the cuisine of Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Malaysia, Indonesia and Polynesia. There is also a full bar offering an extensive wine, sake and beer menu, in addition to colorful tropical cocktails.

New Sheridan Chop House
In an elegant and historic setting feast on creations from classically trained chef Erich Owen. The Chop House has a tailored wine list available from our nitrogen wine bar, ranging from delicate whites to robust reds; perfect for pairing with the one of a kind cuisine.

221 South Oak
Located in a tastefully refurbished historic home, 221 South Oak is renowned for its intimate atmosphere, incredible food, extensive wine list, friendly service and uncompromising quality. They offer a full vegetarian menu as well.

Golf
Telluride Golf Club is a 6,671 - yard, 18- hole semi-private championship, par 71 course located in Mountain Village at an elevation of 9,300 feet above sea level, making it one of the highest golf courses in the country. There is a fully stocked pro shop, pitching green, putting green, and a driving range. The golf course is just steps away from the lodge and has recently been designated a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary.

Golf Lessons
There are five golf pros on staff for daily private and group instruction. Digital video analysis is also available.

Children & the Golf Course
Children are welcome to golf with an adult where there is no minimum age for children.

Dress Code
Proper golfing attire required for all players.
No jeans, bathing suits, t-shirts, gym shorts, halter tops, etc.
Only soft spikes will be permitted and can be purchased at the golf boutique if they are needed.

Oxygen Bar
At an elevation of 9,500 feet, people may experience symptoms associated with high altitude. Extra oxygen can relieve the above symptoms, promoting overall health while recharging your body and clearing your mind. The on-site Oxygen Baroffers 10, 20 and 30-minute sessions.

Spa Boutique
The Spa Boutique, located adjacent to the pool, features Fairmont Heritage Place, Franz Klammer Lodge logo wear, gifts, and the natural healing products used in the Himmel Spa. The spa is happy to ship items for you so that you may indulge in the spa lifestyle everyday of the year.

Pool
The pool is open 24 hours a day with access 7 days a week.

The pool is comprised of an external heated pool with a swim passage for internal access, rectangular configuration with a lap lane, as well as external and internal hot tubs. The general pool dimensions are 20’ x 10’. The average temperature is 83 degrees Fahrenheit.
