Why was the concept developed?Fairmont Heritage Place offers an alternative to expensive and less spacious luxury hotel rooms while conveying real estate ownership in an exotic and valuable location. Fairmont Heritage Place provides more convenience before, during and after your San Francisco vacation. It has more services and amenities than are provided by an equally luxurious condominium or hotel and provides Owners with abundant business and leisure use while reducing the real estate price through shared ownership.
How is the Ownership of a Home conveyed?The title is conveyed to the Owner by a deed in perpetuity, which is recorded and is guaranteed by a title insurance policy. Each Fairmont Heritage Place Owner will own a simple 35 day interest in one or more homes. This interest includes use of all common areas such as the Club Rooms, business centers, conference room, view terraces with fireplaces and private parking.
Is Fairmont Heritage Place a typical interval Ownership development?No. Fairmont Heritage Place offers the benefits of a second home along with an assortment of additional benefits such as access to all of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts’ amenities and facilities.
How often can Owners use a Home?Fairmont Heritage Place offers a usage plan focusing on flexibility enabling you to stay up to 14 days at a time. Owners can also participate in Fairmont’s reciprocal use program allowing them to use up to two of their weeks to stay at a Fairmont Heritage Place property; one of which can be used to stay at a participating Fairmont or Raffles Hotel or Resort for their vacation.
Will Owners have storage space services available?Yes. Owners can store personal items, like sporting equipment, year round providing a safe and convenient alternative to packing.
Do Owners pay Ownership dues?Yes. Owners of Fairmont Heritage Place pay dues to the Home Owners Association. These dues pay for the professional management, insurance, operation of the property and more.
What are the Ownership benefits?Owners at Fairmont Heritage Place in San Francisco receive more value for less money. Ownership provides more services and amenities than you would have with a typical vacation home such as; pre-arrival stocking of your kitchen, a Maserati Quattroporte house car and twenty-four hour concierge, with none of the typical worries and hassles of second home ownership. Personal belongings are stored and delivered to an Owner’s home upon arrival. Owners feel secure that their turnkey property is being managed by Fairmont. Fairmont Heritage Place Owners also will be invited to belong to the prestigious President’s Circle which entitles them to the best available room upgrade and many other exclusive privileges at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts worldwide.
Can unaccompanied guests be sent to vacation in the Homes?Yes. Guests may stay at the Homes unaccompanied during any of your reserved visits. We ask that you give us thirty days notice of the guest’s arrival. Your guest will have all the benefits that you have as an Owner during their San Francisco vacations.
