We disclose your Personally Identifiable Information only to our corporate affiliates, including Fairmont Hotels, Inc. and its subsidiaries which carry on business that use the Fairmont name, and to other third parties whose role is to maintain or operate our FHP Site, fulfill the requests you make at our FHP Site, or who may be engaged by us specifically to handle and deliver certain online activities (e.g., conducting contests). These third parties have access to Personally Identifiable Information only to carry out their specific support obligations, cannot use it for other purposes, and must agree to maintain the confidentiality of such information. An exception to our disclosure policy exists if we merge with another entity or if all or substantially all of our assets are transferred or sold to another entity. In that case, all information submitted to us may be transferred to the merged or acquiring entity. Our FHP Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE INTERNET AND DEVELOPING TECHNOLOGIES, WE CANNOT, HOWEVER, PROVIDE ASSURANCES AS TO THE SECURITY OF YOUR INFORMATION, AND WE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY SUCH OBLIGATIONS. Please note that because e-mail that you send over the Internet is not secure or private, you should not include confidential personal or private information in any e-mail that you send us.
If at any time you would like us to update or correct Personally Identifiable Information you have previously provided to us, feel free to contact us using the contact information provided below in the “How To Contact Us” section, and we will update or correct your Personally Identifiable Information to the extent your request does not compromise and is consistent with our privacy policies. In addition, if you request, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to remove your name and Personally Identifiable Information from any database(s) that we may maintain. Please understand, however, that it may be impossible to remove this information completely, due to backups and records of deletions.
